English Language — Subject Code 1123
Springfield will be conducting a five-day English Language workshop/seminar for O Level students, led by an experienced subject specialist. The programme is designed to give students a deeper understanding of the English Language (1123) examination, with particular attention to the structure and requirements of the papers.
Across the five days, students will explore the paper pattern, question requirements and effective approaches to attempting different sections of the examination. The sessions will also focus on practical examination techniques, helping students understand how to interpret questions, organise their responses and present their ideas with greater clarity and precision.
Learning will extend beyond explanation. Students will engage in activities, assignments and practice exercises related to the examination content, allowing them to apply the techniques discussed during the sessions and develop greater familiarity with the demands of the paper.
The workshop is intended to complement students’ regular classroom preparation by providing focused subject-specific guidance and an opportunity to work intensively on the skills required for the examination.
Through experiences such as these, Springfield seeks to give students not only greater familiarity with an examination, but also a clearer understanding of how to approach their work with confidence, precision and purpose.
